On June 18, 2020, the VIII All-Russian Scientific Conference "Lviv Readings - 2020" was held at the State University of Management, dedicated to the creative heritage of the outstanding Russian scientist, the founder of the Department of Institutional Economics of the State University of Management, Academician D.S. Lvov (1930 - 2007). "Lviv Readings - 2020" opened a series of events dedicated to the anniversary of Academician D.S. Lvov and prepared the academic, student and business community for the "First International Lviv Forum - 2020", which will be held on October 20-21, 2020 at the State University of Management ...
This year, "Lviv Readings - 2020" took place in an online format, but this did not prevent holding both the plenary session and the student section!
113 people took part in "Lviv Readings - 2020", including representatives of the academic and teaching community, students of the State University of Management, CEMI RAS, Institute of Economics RAS, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, RANEPA, RAS institutes. The partners of Lviv Readings - 2020 are the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (CEMI RAS), the New Economic Association (Moscow), and the Institute of Scientific Communications (Volgograd).
The guests were greeted by the rector of the State University of Management, Ph.D. Ivan Vasilievich Lobanov, Vice-Rector, Doctor of Economics, prof. GUU Ksenia Valerievna Ekimova, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics, prof. Georgy Borisovich Kleiner, Director of the Institute of Economics and Finance, Doctor of Economics Galina Petrovna Sorokina.
At the plenary session, leading Russian scientists presented reports on the main problems of economic science and management science, as well as the challenges facing Russian business in modern conditions. S.Yu. Glazyev analyzed the reasons for the current state of the world economy and proved that the coronavirus pandemic has accelerated the transition to a new, sixth, technological stage in the development of the world economy. G.B. Kleiner substantiated that the modern world needs to reform the theory and practice of managing socio-economic systems on the basis of the relationship between social doctrine and the concept of national dividend, the foundations of which were laid by Academician D.S. Lvov. The problems of coordination in the context of the renewal of the technological base of the economy were touched upon in his report by Corr. RAS Doctor of Economics, prof. V.E. Dementyev.
The plenary reports touched upon such topical issues as risk and uncertainty management (Doctor of Economics, Prof. R.M. Kachalov), patterns in the development of world civilizations (Doctor of Economics, Prof. M.S. Hayrapetyan), the influence of philosophical knowledge on the evolution of a person's worldview, economic practice and management of organizations (Ph.D., associate professors S.L. Sazanova and G.N. Ryazanova), problems of the influence of moral categories on
economic processes (Doctor of Economics, Prof. B.A. Erznkyan and Candidate of Economic Sciences A.A. Nikonova), dynamics of the “knowledge economy” sector in the structure of the Russian economy (Doctor of Economics, Prof. O.S. Sukharev), as well as the prospects for the development of innovative corporations (Doctor of Economics O.V. Brizhak) and the prospects for the development of business ecosystems in the Russian regions bordering China (Ph.D., Assoc. F.F. Sharipov).
At the end of each report, the participants asked questions that developed into sharp and interesting discussions, as a result of which an understanding was formed that modern economic science and practice cannot ignore the solution of ethical, moral problems that directly affect the economic decisions made by people. Participants of the "Lviv Readings - 2020" came to the conclusion that the ideas of Academician D.S. Lvov about the need to create a "moral economy", about a special unique socio-economic space of Russia and the need to develop their own, Russian, development strategy, remain relevant should receive further development in Russian and world economic science.
A foreign guest of the Lviv Readings - 2020, Elena de Preville (Doctor of Psychology, ESSEC Business School, France) expressed her admiration for the extraordinary reports, the depth of thought of Russian scientists, the high level of organization of the Lviv Readings - 2020 by the specialists of the State University of Management.
At the end of the plenary session, the academic community passed the baton to the students of the State University of Management and "Lviv Readings - 2020" continued in the form of a round table "Legacy of Academician D.S. Lvov in the research of students and graduate students of the State University of Management "(moderator: Ph.D., Associate Professor Andrey Alekseevich Sychev). The round table was attended by 30 bachelors and undergraduates, who presented 22 reports! Students of the State University of Management and other Moscow universities discussed with interest the problems of the modern economy and proposed original ways to solve them. Russian students are optimistic about the future and are ready to solve any problems!
